Long before Boivin Leather became a business, my wife and I were dating long-distance. We passed a journal back and forth, filling its pages with letters, drawings, and photos whenever we were apart. It became a place to hold the parts of our relationship that distance couldn’t.

Before our wedding, I wanted to give her something that symbolized the life we were about to build—something made to last a lifetime and grow more beautiful with age. That’s when I designed and crafted the first Boivin Leather journal.

That journal became the beginning of something larger. I dedicated myself to learning the craft, working with materials valued for generations and refusing to rush the processes that give them their beauty and strength.

That same philosophy guides everything we make today: thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted, and made to carry the stories that matter most—growing richer and more personal with every year.
